starver
One who famishes
A starver is someone or something that starves—either one who goes without food or one who deprives others of it.
The word appears most often in compounds or set phrases: a wage that would make a starver of any honest worker.
In older usage, starver could describe an employer who paid starvation wages or a miser who denied others basic needs.
