spacebars
Gap-making keyboard keys
Spacebars are the long horizontal keys at the bottom of a keyboard, pressed with the thumb to insert a space between words.
Most keyboards have one spacebar, but the plural appears in discussions of keyboard design, typing technique, or multiple devices: Check that all the spacebars on these keyboards are working.
