solidarity marches
Collective support demonstrations
Solidarity marches are public demonstrations where people walk together to show support for a cause, group, or community—often in response to injustice, tragedy, or discrimination.
Unlike protest marches aimed at specific demands, solidarity marches emphasize unity and shared concern: Thousands joined solidarity marches after the attacks.
They signal that participants stand with those affected, even when they themselves are not directly impacted.
