social feed

A social feed is a stream of content—posts, images, videos, updates—displayed in a scrolling format on social media platforms.

The feed aggregates material from accounts you follow or content algorithms predict you'll engage with.

I spent an hour scrolling my social feed.

The term often carries connotations of distraction or information overload: I need to get off my social feed and do some actual work.
