signature line
Where you sign
A signature line is the space at the bottom of a document, letter, or form where a person writes their name to indicate agreement, authorship, or acknowledgment.
In emails, the term refers to the block of text automatically appended to outgoing messages, typically containing the sender's name, title, contact information, and sometimes a quote or legal disclaimer.
Her signature line included her job title and phone number.
The signature line on contracts often appears above a printed name with a horizontal line indicating where to sign.
