si

Seventh solfège tone

Si is the seventh note of the musical scale in solfège (do, re, mi, fa, sol, la, si).

In English-speaking countries, it's often replaced by "ti." In Spanish and Italian, si means yes; in French, Spanish, and Italian, si means if.

Si, podemos (yes, we can). (Capitalized Si is the chemical symbol for silicon; SI is the International System of Units.)
