Before the octave
Ti is the seventh note of the musical scale in the English solfège system (do, re, mi, fa, sol, la, ti), used instead of si.
Ti is also a plant (Cordyline) with long leaves, used in Hawaiian leis and landscaping: ti leaves wrapped the fish for cooking. (Ti is the chemical symbol for titanium; TI is Texas Instruments.)
