showjumper
Horse over obstacles
A showjumper is a horse trained to compete in showjumping—the equestrian sport of clearing a course of obstacles within a time limit.
The term also applies to the rider: She's been a competitive showjumper since her teens.
Showjumpers are typically athletic, agile horses bred or trained for explosive jumping ability rather than speed or endurance.
