Small coastal shark
Shovelhead refers to several things united by a broad, flat shape.
Most commonly, it's a type of Harley-Davidson motorcycle engine produced from 1966 to 1984, named for its shovel-shaped rocker covers: He restored a '72 shovelhead.
A shovelhead shark (or bonnethead) has a distinctively flattened head.
The term also names a species of catfish and a type of sturgeon.
