Give off vibes

The verb seem is a linking verb that often has only an adjective as a predicate, though it can also be followed by all kinds of clauses.

It is not used in progressive tenses, though the present participle, seeming, is used as an adjective.

Seem is used to connect qualities in the predicate with the subject and at the same time, convey they idea that the association is based on someone’s perception, not necessarily on measurable evidence: You seem a little tired today.
