sea freight
Maritime goods transport
Sea freight is the transport of goods by ship, or the goods being transported.
It's the primary method for moving large quantities of cargo internationally—slower than air freight but far cheaper for bulk shipments: The company switched to sea freight to cut costs.
Also called ocean freight.
