air cargo
Flown commercial goods
Air cargo is freight transported by aircraft, as opposed to ship, truck, or rail.
The term covers both the goods themselves and the service of moving them: Air cargo rates have increased this quarter.
Items needing fast delivery or crossing oceans often go by air cargo, despite higher costs than surface shipping.
