scrollers
Those thumbing endlessly
Scrollers are people who scroll through content on phones or computers, especially those who spend significant time passively browsing social media feeds: The café was full of scrollers staring at their phones.
The term can carry a mildly dismissive tone, suggesting mindless consumption rather than active engagement.
In gaming, scrollers may refer to side-scrolling video games.
