scratchcard

Coin-revealed prize ticket

A scratchcard is a ticket with a concealed area that can be scratched off to reveal whether you've won a prize, typically in lotteries or promotional games.

The coating is usually a thin metallic or latex layer removed with a coin or fingernail: I won twenty dollars on a scratchcard.
