sausage links
Connected meat cylinders
Sausage links are individual sausages formed by twisting or tying a continuous casing at intervals, creating a chain of connected portions.
The term distinguishes them from sausage patties, which are flat discs of the same seasoned meat without casings: I'll have the sausage links with my eggs, not the patties.
