rooflights
Overhead glass panels
Rooflights are windows set into a roof to admit natural light from above.
They may be flat, domed, or angled to match the roof pitch.
The term is more common in British English; Americans typically say skylights.
The architect specified rooflights for the corridor to reduce electricity costs.
