resident advisors
Hall staff guides
Resident advisors are student staff members who live in college dormitories and provide guidance, support, and rule enforcement for other residents.
Often abbreviated RA, they serve as a first point of contact for students adjusting to campus life, mediating roommate conflicts and connecting people with university resources: Our resident advisor helped us settle the noise dispute.
The role typically comes with free or reduced housing.
