relieving
Taking pressure off
Relieving is the act of easing or lessening something burdensome.
A relieving sigh follows the release of tension.
In workplace contexts, relieving someone means taking over their duties: The night shift is relieving the day crew.
A relieving officer temporarily fills another's position.
To relieve oneself is a euphemism for urinating or defecating, so relieving can carry that sense too.
