record sleeves
Vinyl's protective jackets
Record sleeves are the protective covers for vinyl records, typically made of paper or cardboard.
The outer sleeve—often called the jacket—usually features album artwork, track listings, and liner notes, while an inner sleeve directly protects the disc from dust and scratches.
Collectors prize original sleeves: The record was mint, but the sleeve was trashed.
