reclimbing

Going back up

Reclimbing is climbing something again.

The word appears most often in mountaineering and rock climbing contexts, where a climber returns to a route previously attempted or completed: After falling, she spent an hour reclimbing the pitch.

It can also describe repeated ascents in training or competition.
