rapcore
Metal meets hip-hop
Rapcore is a fusion genre combining rap vocals with hardcore punk or heavy metal instrumentation.
The style emerged in the 1990s alongside nu-metal, featuring shouted or screamed vocals alternating with rapped verses over distorted guitars and aggressive drumming: Rage Against the Machine pioneered rapcore in the early nineties.
