A wall of death is a carnival attraction where motorcyclists ride horizontally around the inside of a vertical cylindrical wall, centrifugal force keeping them pinned as they circle.
At concerts, a wall of death is when a crowd splits into two groups that rush toward each other when the music drops: The band called for a wall of death and the pit went crazy.
