railway lines
Steel path network
Railway lines are the parallel steel tracks on which trains run, or the routes and services that operate along them.
The term covers both the physical infrastructure—rails, ties, and roadbed—and the transportation systems using them: The railway line to Edinburgh runs through York.
British usage; Americans typically say railroad tracks or train lines.
