pummelos
Largest citrus fruits
Pummelos is the plural of pummelo, a large citrus fruit native to Southeast Asia.
The pummelo is the largest of all citrus fruits, with thick rind and sweet-tart flesh ranging from pale yellow to pink.
It resembles a mild, less bitter grapefruit—which is actually a hybrid descended from it.
Also spelled pomelo or pomello.
