pummelo
Largest citrus fruit
A pummelo is a large citrus fruit native to Southeast Asia, the largest of the citrus family.
It resembles a grapefruit but is sweeter and less bitter, with thick rind and pale yellow to pink flesh.
The segments separate easily and are often eaten fresh: We shared a pummelo for dessert.
Also spelled pomelo.
