power zone
Peak performance area
Power zone refers to a range of intensity or effort, typically in exercise or athletic training.
Heart rate monitors and cycling computers divide exertion into numbered power zones—zone 1 being easy recovery, zone 5 being maximum effort: I stayed in power zone 3 for the whole ride.
The term also appears in weightlifting for the core and hip region that generates explosive force.
