Closer skating blade
The inside edge is the edge of a blade, ski, or skate closest to the body's midline.
In ice skating and skiing, shifting weight to the inside edge allows sharper turns and better control: She carved the turn on her inside edges.
In cricket, an inside edge occurs when the ball deflects off the bat's inner face toward the leg side.
