pledgee

Receives the collateral

A pledgee is the person or party to whom something is pledged—typically in legal or financial contexts, the creditor who receives property as security for a debt.

The pledgee holds the collateral until the obligation is satisfied: The bank, as pledgee, retained possession of the stock certificates.

Contrast with pledgor, the one who gives the pledge.
