Ballistic panel vest
A plate-carrier is a tactical vest designed to hold ballistic armor plates, worn by military personnel, law enforcement, and security contractors for protection against gunfire.
Unlike soft body armor, plate-carriers accommodate rigid ceramic or steel inserts that can stop rifle rounds.
They typically feature attachment points for pouches, radios, and other gear: He loaded extra magazines into his plate-carrier before the raid.
