plant swap
Botanical trading event
A plant swap is an event where gardeners exchange plants, cuttings, seeds, or seedlings with one another.
Participants bring specimens they've propagated or no longer want and trade for something new to them.
Plant swaps happen at community centers, garden clubs, or informally among neighbors: I got this hosta at a plant swap last spring.
