pill pusher
One dispensing medication
Pill pusher is a mildly disparaging term for someone who dispenses medications.
It usually targets doctors perceived as overprescribing drugs rather than addressing underlying problems: My last therapist was just a pill pusher—ten minutes and a new prescription every visit.
The term can also refer to pharmacists or, less commonly, illegal drug dealers.
