peregrinations

Journeys through foreign lands

Peregrinations are travels or journeys, especially long or wandering ones.

The word is literary and slightly humorous, often used self-consciously to describe someone's movements: After years of peregrinations through Southeast Asia, she finally settled in Bangkok.

The singular peregrination exists but is rarer than the plural.
