peer mentors
Same-level student advisors
Peer mentors are people who guide others of similar age, status, or experience level.
Unlike traditional mentors who hold authority over their mentees, peer mentors share common ground—fellow students helping classmates, recovering addicts supporting newcomers, or employees onboarding colleagues at the same rank.
The program pairs incoming freshmen with peer mentors who recently navigated the transition themselves.
