paresthetic
Feeling phantom tingles
Paresthetic describes sensations of tingling, prickling, numbness, or "pins and needles"—the feelings associated with paresthesia.
The term appears in medical contexts: paresthetic symptoms in the extremities, a paresthetic sensation spreading down the arm.
A limb "falling asleep" from pressure on a nerve produces paresthetic feelings.
