papadoms
Lentil flour crisps
Papadoms, also spelled papadums or papads, are thin, crispy Indian flatbreads made from lentil, chickpea, or rice flour.
They are typically served as an appetizer or side dish in South Asian cuisine, often accompanied by chutneys or pickles.
Papadoms can be fried, roasted, or cooked over an open flame until they puff up and become crunchy.
We started the meal with papadoms and mango chutney.
