outfeed
Where work emerges
Outfeed refers to the side of a machine where material exits after processing, opposite the infeed.
In woodworking, the outfeed table supports boards as they emerge from a table saw or planer: Make sure your outfeed table is level with the blade.
The term appears in any context involving material flow through equipment—paper handling, printing, manufacturing.
