nudnik
Annoying persistent person
A nudnik is a pest—someone who annoys through persistent nagging, complaining, or boring conversation.
The word comes from Yiddish and carries affectionate exasperation rather than true hostility: My uncle is such a nudnik, always asking when I'm getting married.
Also spelled nudnick.
