idiots
Knuckleheads, every one
Idiots is the plural of idiot—a person of profound stupidity or someone who has done something foolish.
The word originated as a clinical term for severe intellectual disability but now functions almost entirely as an insult: Those idiots left the gate open.
Calling someone an idiot expresses contempt for their judgment or intelligence rather than diagnosing a condition.
