noninterference
Keeping hands off
Noninterference is the policy or practice of not getting involved in others' affairs.
In international relations, it means respecting national sovereignty by avoiding intervention in another country's internal matters: a doctrine of noninterference.
More broadly, it describes any hands-off approach: The manager's noninterference let the team find its own solutions.
