laissez-faire
Government stays out
Laissez-faire is a French phrase meaning "let do" or "leave alone," used in English to describe a hands-off approach.
In economics, it refers to minimal government intervention in markets: laissez-faire capitalism.
More broadly, it describes any permissive or noninterventionist style: a laissez-faire attitude toward parenting, laissez-faire management.
