interferer

One who meddles

An interferer is someone or something that interferes—that gets in the way or meddles in affairs not their own.

The word appears in technical contexts (a signal interferer disrupts communications) and everyday complaints about meddlesome people: My mother-in-law is a chronic interferer.

Less common than the verb interfere or noun interference.
