neutral venue
Nobody's home turf
A neutral venue is a location for an event—typically a sporting match, negotiation, or meeting—that doesn't favor either side.
In sports, teams normally alternate playing at home, but championship games or politically sensitive matches may be held at a neutral venue to ensure fairness: The World Cup final will be played at a neutral venue.
