neckrolls

Head circles exercise

Neckrolls are a stretching exercise where you rotate your head in a circular motion, letting it roll from shoulder to chest to shoulder to back.

Physical therapists now often advise against full circles, recommending semicircular movements instead: I do a few neckrolls before starting my workout.

The term also refers to padded cushions that support the neck during travel or rest.
