naturalises

Makes legally domestic

Naturalises is the British spelling of naturalizes.

To naturalise is to grant citizenship to a foreign-born person, or for that person to become a citizen: She naturalised after living in the country for five years.

Plants or animals naturalise when they establish themselves in a new environment as if native.

To naturalise something is also to make it seem natural or normal: The film naturalises violence.
