Divided into parts
Multi-chapter describes a work divided into multiple chapters, typically a written narrative.
The term appears most often in fan fiction communities to distinguish longer, serialized stories from one-shots: I'm working on a multi-chapter fic.
It can also describe any extended project with distinct sections: a multi-chapter analysis of the housing crisis.
