moralities
Systems of right
Moralities is the plural of morality, covering multiple systems of moral principles or multiple instances of moral quality.
Different cultures hold different moralities; philosophers debate competing moralities.
The word also names a genre of medieval allegorical drama—morality plays—in which virtues and vices appear as characters: The moralities of the fifteenth century gave way to secular theater.
