Atmospheric science fields
Meteorologies is the plural of meteorology, the scientific study of the atmosphere and weather phenomena.
The plural appears when distinguishing different approaches or regional traditions: The meteorologies of tropical and polar regions require different models.
It may also refer to weather patterns themselves: the varied meteorologies of mountain climates.
