Query across engines
Metasearch is searching multiple search engines or databases simultaneously and combining the results.
A metasearch engine queries Google, Bing, and others at once, then aggregates their findings: I used a metasearch site to compare flight prices across all the airlines.
The approach trades depth for breadth, casting a wider net than any single source.
