materialisation

Taking physical form

Materialisation is the British spelling of materialization—the process of becoming real or taking physical form.

A plan materialises when it moves from idea to reality.

In spiritualist contexts, materialisation refers to the supposed appearance of spirits or objects during a séance: The medium claimed to produce materialisations of the dead.
