made-up

Purely from imagination

Made-up describes something invented or fabricated rather than real or factual: a made-up story, a made-up word.

It also means wearing cosmetics: She was fully made-up for the party.

A made-up bed has been arranged with sheets and covers in place.

The hyphen distinguishes the adjective from the verb phrase made up.
